About epros®Silicate Resins
Cured epros®SilicateResinSystems are highly chemical resistant, heat resistant and in case of fire self-extinguishing. Thus they can be used in critical areas such as airports and tunnels. The patented formula do not contain any volatile organic compounds (VOC) and are completely styrene-free. They can be used in a wide range of ambient temperatures from Iceland to Abu Dhabi. The excellent bonding to all pipe materials with a tight and positive fit to HDPE pipes as well as a service life of 50+ years make eprosSilicate Resin systems belonging to the most popular and well established consumables among installers and customers worldwide.
epros®Silicate Resin Type W
The patented two-component resin mixture is made up of the components B (resin) and A (hardener) at a mixing ratio of 2:1 (by volume).
Perfect for short rehabilitation distances and smaller pipe diameters
epros®Silicate Resin Type S
The patented two-component resin mixture is made up of the components B (resin) and A (hardener) at a mixing ratio of 2:1 (by volume).
The S-Type, so called "summer resin" is recommended for use at higher outside temperatures. It provides comfortable pot time and cures at ambient temperature.
In order to adjust pot and curing times individually it is possible to mix with Type W or Type W01.
epros®Silicate Resin Type W01
The patented two-component resin mixture is made up of the components B (resin) and A (hardener) at a mixing ratio of 2:1 (by volume).
This highly reactive silicate resin should be used only in cold seasons by installers specifically trained.
epros®SilicateResin System - Hardener Component
The "A-component" of the epros®SilicateResin Systems is the Hardener.
It can be used for all types of epros®ResinSystems as component, either if it is Type S, W, W01, L30E1 or L30E3
